Q.  Is this two pieces, one inner and one outer?

A.  Correct.  These pasteurizers have one removable tank in them.  It makes it easy to lift the removable stainless steel bucket and pour the milk out of the inner tank.  This way you don't have to lift the whole appliance in order to pour the milk.

Q.  Is this thermostat controlled?  How do you control the temperature?

A.  These machines are preset to bring the temperature of the milk up to 158 degrees.  It operates by heating a hot water bath that the inner milk container sits in.  Once it hits 158 degrees, it will ring a buzzer, indicating it is time to drain the hot water and circulate cool water.

Q.  How is the hot water drained off?

A.  Pasteurizers come with inlet and outlet hoses as well as complete instructions.  The hoses hook up to a faucet.
